Penetratingpowerrecordings was found by Seth & Corocko in 2005.Based in Mannheim Germany the label wants to support the german drum n bass scene. The imprint will start with a couple of tracks from Artists of the Penetratingpower crew and will get a base for the Underground scene, too.
After asking in many Clubs, asking many Promoters and trying everything to get shows for the nights both were tired of that;they decided to create their own Nights. So they were looking for a Date in an legendary DnB Club that had to close his doors a long time before.The new owner gave them the chance for their Event.The Night was a full success. Seth decided that it was time to get into the biggest Drum n Bass Club in Mannheim.
They started the Audio in. Club @ the legendary MS Connexion Club Mannheim. After Events featuring the biggest Artists of scene, those like DJ Phantasy, Blame, Loxy, Fluid, MC Fun, 2shy MC, DRS… to name just a few of it, Seth & Corocko thought it was now the time to give their own productions, (which in the beginning were produced in a little studio at seths garage) a base. Penetratingpower was born! What we are looking for, is the evolution of Darkness.
Your own concoction of rolling melancholic - deep and bad BASSLINES; rising strings; complementing DARK elements;breaks and atmospheric ambiance; excellently produced sound of underground.
Although the BASSLINE is a major element here, the second of three, is the emphasis on the drums - precise and clinical intricate; ECCENTRIC structures, while still allowing dance floor allurement.
Third and equally as important - Dakness within the tunes. This is the key to our Label – Love for the Darkness.
In the future there will be new Nights featuring the global players of dark business hosted by the label own promotion agency-powerpromotions. So watch out!
